Licensing Information

1. Overview / Purpose of the License

Athlete Finance League (AFL) is a licensed financial literacy and life-skills competition platform for student-athletes. Annual licensing grants institutions, clubs, and organizations access to the full platform, curriculum, and competitive ecosystem.

2. Annual Licensing Fee Structure

  • University / College Programs: Annual fee per athletic department or per sport. Covers full access to competitive challenges, leaderboards, badges, certifications, modules, coach/admin dashboards, and reporting.
  • High School Programs: Reduced annual fee. Per-school or per-team licensing available.
  • Youth / Club / AAU Programs: Per-organization annual licensing. Includes access to age-appropriate content and competition.
  • Conference-Wide Licensing: Special conference-level licensing available for bulk school enrollment at discounted rates.

3. What's Included in the License

  • Access to all educational modules (Basics of Money, NIL Taxes, Budgeting, Investing, Contracts, Credit, Banking, Fraud Protection, Business Structures, Life After Sports)
  • Practice and competitive challenge modes
  • Official leaderboard and ranking inclusion
  • Badges, certifications, and downloadable credentials
  • Coach and admin dashboards with reporting and analytics
  • Roster management and athlete onboarding tools
  • Mini-team and school-vs-school competition features
  • Sponsor reward marketplace participation
  • Season system participation (Preseason, Regular, Playoffs, Championship)
  • Data export capabilities (CSV, PDF)

4. Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an accredited educational institution, registered club, AAU organization, or approved youth sports program.
  • School/organization must designate at least one admin contact.
  • Compliance with platform Terms of Service and Code of Conduct.
  • Parental consent workflows required for participants under 18.

5. Renewal & Cancellation

  • Licenses are annual, renewed on a 12-month cycle from activation date.
  • Renewal notices sent 60 days and 30 days prior to expiration.
  • Non-renewal results in loss of official ranking and competition access (educational content remains accessible in practice mode).
  • No refunds for partial-year cancellations unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment accepted via Stripe (credit card), PayPal, or invoice.
  • Split payment plans (installments) available for qualifying organizations.
  • Net 30 terms available for institutions paying by invoice.
  • All prices are processed and billed in USD.

  • AFL is an educational platform and does not provide financial, tax, or legal advice.
  • Rankings, scores, and certifications are for educational merit recognition only.
  • Sponsor-funded rewards are tied to educational achievement and subject to compliance review.
  • AFL is not affiliated with the NCAA, NAIA, or any specific governing athletic body.

  • Platform performance does not guarantee financial literacy or investment success.
  • AFL reserves the right to modify licensing terms with 90 days written notice.
